Terms of Service
Last updated: April 29, 2026
What's changed
- Clint is now a credit-based service. Most analyses (for example, processing a single invoice) cost one credit. The previous flat-subscription wording has been replaced with a new "Plans, Credits & Billing" section that describes how credits are granted, used, and refunded.
- A real Free plan has replaced the old 15-day free trial. You can use Clint indefinitely without paying.
- Each account holds three credit pools — monthly balance, rollover, and top-up. Charges drain rollover first, monthly balance second, top-up last. Top-up credits never expire.
- Plan upgrades take effect immediately and the new plan's full monthly credit grant is applied to your account the moment the upgrade is confirmed. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period; if you downgrade, rollover credits above the new plan's cap will expire on the effective date. We will show you exactly how many credits will be trimmed before you confirm.
- Refunds now work in two ways. Deleting an analyzed invoice automatically returns one credit to the bucket it was drawn from (capped per month). A discretionary plan-level refund is available for first-time paid plan purchases within 14 days, prorated by the credits you have already used. Top-up credits are non-refundable. Full details are in our Refund Policy at clint.website/refunds.
- Refund policy applies to direct web subscriptions only. App Store and Google Play purchases are subject to their respective platform refund policies.
- Clint can now also read a Google Drive folder you designate, in addition to your Gmail inbox. Both are read-only and require your explicit permission.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Clint's websites, web application, mobile application, and any interfaces that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Platform"). Clint ("Clint," "we," "us," or "our") provides an online service that helps you locate, organize, and analyze subscription- and finance-related information from your Gmail inbox and, when you authorize it, from a Google Drive folder you designate.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Who You Are Contracting With & Contact
Provider: Clint (Yakup Bayrak)
Email: help@clint.website
Address: Yenişehir Mahallesi, Osman Bulvarı Aeropark No: 11 A İç Kapı No: 28 Pendik 34912 İstanbul, Türkiye
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 to use the Platform. You represent and warrant that you have not been suspended or removed from the Platform and that your use complies with all applicable laws.
You sign in with your Google account to create a Clint profile. Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity on your account. Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.
3. Limited License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Platform on your own devices for your internal use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, lease, or exploit the Platform except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
4. Google Permissions & Limited Use
When you explicitly authorize it, Clint requests:
- Read-only access to your Gmail messages to locate subscription-, invoice-, and receipt-related emails. Clint queries Gmail using a narrow keyword filter ("invoice", "receipt", "fatura") and excludes Trash, Spam, and Sent folders. Clint does not alter or delete messages.
- Read access to a Google Drive folder you designate to detect, analyze, and organize invoice and receipt files placed in that folder. Clint does not access Drive content outside the folder you select.
Clint connects only to Gmail and Google Drive and does not access other email or storage providers.
Clint's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google Accounts adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The keyword filters and access scopes are documented publicly on our Gmail Transparency page.
5. Your Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
You agree not to (and not to help others to):
- Violate third-party rights or laws; upload or process content you lack rights to use.
- Access, probe, or use non-public areas or interfere with security features.
- Use bots, scrapers, or any automated means not provided by us to extract data from the Platform.
- Exceed the rate limits on Platform APIs (currently 60 requests per minute per account, as may be updated from time to time and documented in our API documentation), or attempt to manipulate request payloads (including invoice identifiers or duplicate-detection hashes) to bypass billing, idempotency, or anomaly-detection controls.
- Abuse the refund mechanics described in §6.7 (for example, by repeatedly creating and deleting invoices to harvest credit refunds).
- Attempt to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Platform except where permitted by law.
- Introduce malware or engage in fraud, harassment, or other harmful activity.
We may investigate and take action (including suspension or termination) for violations.
6. Plans, Credits & Billing
6.1 Plans
Clint is offered on a freemium basis. Current plans, monthly credit grants, rollover capacity, and prices are described on the Platform and may be updated prospectively. As of the effective date of these Terms, plans include Free, Flow, Pro, and Unlimited (subscription plans available to all users) and Fellow (an invitation-only plan). Plan details, including monthly credit grants and rollover months, govern your account and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
All prices are stated in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise noted. Annual billing, where offered, is paid in advance.
6.2 Credits
Most actions on the Platform that consume meaningful compute or third-party API capacity — primarily, the analysis of an individual invoice — cost one (1) credit. Your account holds three independent credit pools:
| Bucket | Source | Expires? | Drain order |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rollover | Unused monthly credits carried from the prior period | Yes — capped by your plan's rollover months | 1st (most-expiring first) |
| Monthly balance | Your plan's monthly grant | Yes — at next billing reset | 2nd |
| Top-up | Credits you purchase as one-time packages | Never | 3rd |
Charges drain rollover first, then monthly balance, then top-up.
Credits have no monetary value outside the Platform. They are not currency, are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable between accounts, and confer no rights other than the right to consume Platform features as described in these Terms. We may adjust the credit cost of features prospectively; we will not retroactively change the cost of a charge that has already been settled.
6.3 Monthly grant & rollover
At the start of each billing period:
- Unused monthly balance is carried into your rollover bucket, up to your plan's maximum rollover (plan's rollover months × monthly grant).
- Any amount that exceeds the cap is expired and removed from the account.
- Your plan's fresh monthly grant is added to the monthly balance.
We send a reminder when rollover credits will expire within seven (7) days. We are not liable for rollover credits that expire after the reminder has been sent.
6.4 Top-up credits
You may purchase one-time top-up credit packages in addition to your plan's monthly grant. Top-up credits:
- Are added directly to your top-up bucket.
- Never expire while your account remains active.
- Are not subject to rollover trimming when you change plans (see §6.5).
- Are drained last, after rollover and monthly balance.
- Are non-refundable once delivered to your account, except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
The fate of top-up credits when an account is deleted or terminated is described in §15.
6.5 Plan changes
Upgrade. An upgrade (for example, Free → Flow, Flow → Pro) takes effect immediately. Our payment processor charges a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, and the new plan's full monthly credit grant is added to your monthly balance at the moment the upgrade is confirmed. Any unused credits from your previous plan are preserved according to their original bucket rules.
Downgrade. A downgrade (for example, Pro → Flow) takes effect at the start of the next billing period. Until that date, you retain your current plan's credits and rollover capacity. At the start of the next billing period, your maximum rollover is recalculated using the new plan's values, and any rollover credits that exceed the new cap are expired.
Required notice. Before you confirm a downgrade, the Platform will display the effective date and the rollover credits that will be trimmed. By confirming the downgrade you acknowledge and accept that rollover credits exceeding the new plan's cap will be lost on the effective date. Top-up credits are not affected by a downgrade.
6.6 Cancelling a paid subscription
Cancelling a paid subscription is treated as a downgrade to Free at the end of your current billing period. Until that date, you retain your paid-plan credits and rollover capacity. At the start of the next billing period, the same rollover-trim rules in §6.5 apply. Your account, your data, and your top-up credits remain available on the Free plan; cancelling a subscription does not delete your account.
6.7 Refunds
Two distinct refund mechanics apply. The summary below is binding; for plain-language explanations and request flows, see our Refund Policy.
(a) Per-invoice refund (automatic). When you delete or permanently trash an analyzed invoice in the Platform, one (1) credit is returned to the bucket from which it was originally drawn. Per-invoice refunds are subject to a monthly cap equal to your plan's monthly credit grant; requests beyond the cap will not be honored until the next billing period. We monitor for abusive patterns (for example, refund rates above 50% of charges in a billing period) and may suspend automatic refunds and review the account. We will notify you if automatic refunds are paused on your account.
(b) Plan-level refund (discretionary). If you purchase a paid plan for the first time and are dissatisfied, you may request a full or partial refund of your most recent plan payment within fourteen (14) days of that payment, via the Billing menu in the Platform or by emailing help@clint.website. The refundable amount is reduced pro rata by credits already consumed in the period (one credit consumed = (monthly price ÷ plan's monthly grant) deducted from the refund). Plan-level refunds are at our reasonable discretion, exclude payment-processor fees, and are not available for renewals after the first paid period or for top-up purchases (which are governed by §6.4).
Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
6.8 Failed payments and pending charges
If a payment fails or is disputed, we may suspend access to paid features. If you attempt to analyze an invoice with no available credits, the invoice is queued and settled automatically when credits next become available (through a monthly grant or a top-up purchase).
6.9 App Store and Google Play purchases
If you purchase a Clint subscription or top-up through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the refund and cancellation policies of those platforms govern that purchase. The plan-level refund mechanic in §6.7(b) applies only to direct web purchases. Per-invoice refunds in §6.7(a) apply regardless of where the underlying credits were obtained.
If you use Clint on iOS, your use of the Clint iOS application is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
6.10 Taxes
Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for all taxes (other than taxes on our net income) associated with your purchases.
6.11 Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at help@clint.website first so we can investigate and resolve the issue. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or payment provider without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while we review the underlying transaction. Credits associated with disputed charges may be reversed, and access to paid features may be paused until the dispute is resolved.
7. Your Content & Feedback
If you submit feedback, ideas, or materials to us ("Feedback"), you grant Clint a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use the Feedback for any purpose. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Notice.
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform (including software, UI, text, and other materials) is owned by Clint or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise.
9. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to help@clint.website with: (i) your contact details, (ii) identification of the copyrighted work, (iii) the specific location/URL of the allegedly infringing content, (iv) a statement of good-faith belief, and (v) a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act. We may remove or disable access to reported material where appropriate.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform integrates with and links to third-party services, including but not limited to Google (Gmail and Google Drive), our payment processor Paddle, cloud-hosting providers, and analytics providers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites or services; your use is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
11. Service Changes; Updates
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice. Updates may automatically install. These Terms govern any updates unless we provide different terms for a specific update.
12. Disclaimers
Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will meet your requirements.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
(a) Clint's total liability for all claims in the aggregate will not exceed the fees you paid to Clint (including top-up purchases) in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to liability, or USD 50 — whichever is less.
(b) Clint will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases the above limitations will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Clint and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) your breach of these Terms or applicable law; (ii) your content; or (iii) any dispute between you and a third party. We may assume the defense at our expense; you will cooperate with us.
15. Termination, Suspension & Account Deletion
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or for suspected abuse, security risk, or non-payment.
Cancelling a paid subscription is described in §6.6: your account remains active on the Free plan, and your data, settings, and top-up credits remain available.
Deleting your account is permanent. When you choose to delete your account from within the Platform, your account, data, and all credits — including top-up credits, monthly balance, and rollover — are deleted and forfeited immediately and are not refundable. You may export your data before deletion. We recommend cancelling any active paid subscription before deleting the account so that no further charges occur.
Termination by us for cause (including violation of these Terms or fraud) results in forfeiture of all unused credits — monthly balance, rollover, and top-up — without refund.
Provisions that by their nature should survive (for example, IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnities, governing law, and payment obligations) will survive termination.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes — particularly to plans, credits, or refunds — we will notify you (for example, by in-app notice or email) at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. We will not retroactively reduce credits already granted to your account. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of İstanbul (Anadolu) shall have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence (if applicable) remain unaffected.
18. General
Entire Agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Notice constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
Severability. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent and the remainder will continue in effect.
No Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them without restriction.
Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
Notices. We may provide notices via email, in-app messages, or the Platform. You must keep your email current.
